Terms and Conditions

2 Orders.

2.1 Orders can be made by facsimile, telephone, post or via the secure server on the website. Payment may be made by credit card or by cheque (payable to 'Fyne Boat Kits' and sent to the above address). Fyne Boat Kits shall confirm the order and the price.

2.2 Orders may be cancelled by the customer within 7 days of the day following receipt of the goods by contacting Fyne Boat Kits via the telephone and returning the goods as in point 5 below. Fyne Boat Kits will refund the money received for the goods within 30 days.


3 Prices.

3.1 The prices against the goods on the website include VAT but do not include packing and delivery charges which may be due. The total price payable will be displayed before you are committed to the purchase. All prices may, exceptionally, be subject to change without prior notice but will not change after the order is confirmed by Fyne Boat Kits.

4 Packing and Delivery.

4.1 Accessories and Building Consumables.
Orders of accessories or building consumables to be delivered with a kit will not be subject to packing and delivery charges over and above those charges associated with the kit.
Orders of accessories, building consumables or plans not associated with a kit delivery will be subject to a packing and delivery charge.
4.2 Kits.
Orders of kits will be subject to a packing and delivery charge.


5 Return of Goods

Fyne Boat Kits will only accept returned goods with prior notification.
5.1 Accessories and Building Consumables
Credit will be given for accessories or building consumables returned if they reach Fyne Boat Kits in an 'as sold condition' within a fortnight of customer receipt. A refund of the full price paid will be made excluding the cost of packing and delivery. The cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the customer.
5.2 Kits.
Kits may be returned within 7 days of the day following receipt for credit if they reach Fyne Boat Kits in an undamaged 'as sold' condition. A refund of the money received by Fyne Boat Kits excluding packing and delivery will be given. The cost of returning the kit shall be borne by the customer.
5.3 Plans.
Plans may be returned for credit if they reach Fyne Boat Kits in their original unopened packing within seven days of customer receipt. The cost of returning shall be borne by the customer.
5.4 Damaged goods.
Providing the customer notifies Fyne Boat Kits within seven days of receipt, goods damaged upon receipt will be replaced or a full refund given. The customer will not bear any delivery cost. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.


6 Delivery

Risks associated with the safe keeping of the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Delivery may effected, at the option of the customer, by one of two methods:
6.1 When Fyne Boat Kits delivers the goods to the customer at the customer's premises
6.2 When Fyne Boats Kits delivers the goods to the customer at Fyne Boat Kits premises.


7 Complaints.

If you have any complaints please contact us using any of the contact methods listed at the foot of each page. The telephone is manned during normal office hours and the calls will only cost you the normal standard rate. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and a likely timescale for resolving the issue given. Our complaints system is confidential and we endeavour to treat each complaint effectively and fairly. We will also use the information to improve our future service by looking at the area of complaint and checking that it improves.
