The Canadian is a lightweight canoe with a quick turn of speed and fine bow making it perfect for a couple to go day touring. The hull is Vee shaped at the extremes with a slight rocker. The Canadian canoe has built in buoyant chambers thus there is no requirement for additional buoyancy bags. It is stable and suitable for those new to canoeing and those who want a light boat that is easy to paddle.
Basic boat is without seats but with kneeling thwarts thus leaving space for it to be fitted out to your own specification.

This boat was due to be launched on Windermere on Saturday 21st November but the floods meant that it could be launched from the car park.
(Our model is wearing the Indian open boat but they are a similar length and weight)
Glass fabric to cover the outside of the Canadian canoe. This give a greater abrasion resistance and should be considered if the boat is likely to be used on rocky shores.

The canoe is assembled and given two coats of epoxy and is, therefore, ready to use. However, we encourage customers to paint their boats for visibility reasons.
